Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted Tressa at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted Jill at Breaking the Spine.
Young Adult has always been my comfort zone though, recently, I have found myself reading a variety of General Adult books. Not that I’m complaining but I have missed reading YA so I’m happy that I have a handful of YA books on my reading list this month, the first of these books is my pick for this week’s CWW.
It’s hard to find the truth beneath the lies you tell yourself.
THEN They were four—Bex, Jenni, Ellory, Ret. Electric, headstrong young women; Ellory’s whole solar system.
NOW Ellory is alone, her once inseparable group of friends torn apart by secrets, deception, and a shocking incident that changed their lives forever.
THEN Lazy summer days. A party. A beautiful boy. Ellory met Matthias and fell into the beginning of a spectacular, bright love.
NOW Ellory returns to Pine Brook to navigate senior year after a two-month suspension and summer away—no boyfriend, no friends. No going back. Tormented by some and sought out by others, troubled by a mysterious note-writer who won’t let Ellory forget, and consumed by guilt over her not entirely innocent role in everything and everyone she’s lost, Ellory finds that even in the present, the past is everywhere.
The path forward isn’t a straight line. And moving on will mean sorting the truth from the lies—the lies Ellory has been telling herself.
See All the Stars is being billed as We Were Liars (which I read, loved and cried over) meets Goodbye Days (which I haven’t yet read but am interested in) so naturally this book intrigued me. I’m a little behind my reading schedule but I have this to read after I finish Fiona Davis’ The Masterpiece.
See All the Stars releases on August 14.

I absolutely loved We Were Liars for this to be sort of compared to the similarities of that is amazing and now I’m totally hooked. The cover is beautiful and the way the synopsis reads is definitely intriguing. I’m adding it to my TBR now. 🙂
If you get the chance, come by my blog and check out my Can’t-Wait Wednesday post.
