I feel like I haven’t done this meme in a long time. The past couple of days have been busy. I’ve written back to back reviews and author Q&As for two blog tours, and I feel really good about it. Before I went back to blogging, I had a long writing rut. Well, not so much as a rut but a block actually. It really feel good to be back writing regularly again. Hopefully, it translates to my WIPs.
Anyway, I’ve been fueling writer self with cup after cup of coffee, dark chocolates and energetic indie rock music. I’ll be sharing one of the songs on my currently #working playlist in this Monday’s MM feature.
This is an old song. I don’t recall exactly when it was released (it’s included in The Joy Formidable‘s first album The Big Roar) but it’s been on my music vault for years now. It’s just one of those songs that never fades. I love the energy of this song. I especially love the drums. It just brings this frenetic energy into the song.
