Hey there!
It’s been a couple of weeks since I posted something for MM. October has been really stressful and it took all my energy away. Not to mention, I also fell on a book slump. But I’m going to try and re-build my blogging schedule starting with this post.
I celebrated my birthday yesterday. I didn’t do anything special, just stayed home and ate good food with my family, had a few drinks, sang/screamed songs on videoke (it’s like karaoke, but…ahhh, feel free to Google it 😜) It was fun!
But when things settled and the calendar turned another page, I felt melancholic. It’s those times, you know, 4 in the morning, in between light and dark, the whole place quiet that you start to think about how far you’ve made it, that you’ve learned so much, that even if you lost a number of people in your life, you’ve kept the ones who truly matter and they chose you, too, chosen to stay with you and kept you sane in this crazy world. I’m going to be forever thankful for that.
So, anyway, before I get all more mushy, here’s my pick for today. It’s one of the first songs I played when I welcomed my new year. I hope you all enjoy it.
