Review Policy

I am currently not accepting review requests. Please read on for more details.

General:

I’m happy to receive requests from publishers – doesn’t matter if you’re big, small or independent – and authors. I read most genres, but I am especially partial to historical fiction, fantasy, science fiction, mystery, psychological and crime thrillers – both in the Young Adult and Adult category.

Formats I accept:

🍂 Physical copy (hardcover or paperback, provided you’re willing to foot for shipping)
🍂 MOBI/EPUB (I use both Kindle and Adobe Digital Editions)
🍂 PDF

Genres:

As mentioned before, I read most anything. Though there are certain genres I just keep coming back to time and time again:

🍂 Fantasy
🍂 Science Fiction
🍂 Historical Fiction
🍂 Mystery
🍂 Thrillers (Crime and Psychological)
🍂 Contemporary

I am, however, not accepting requests for the following genres:

🍂 Erotica
🍂 Nonfiction (because, though I read them, I choose to pick them personally)
🍂 Biographies and memoirs

Accepting and reviewing books:

If you’re interested in sending me a review request, I ask that you check out my blog first, read a few of my published reviews to see if my site and the audience that I draw fits your book. Once you have that decided, you can send me an e-mail with the details of your book (e.g. short summary or blurb, release date). I will reply to your message when I accept your request.

I usually write and post reviews a month to at least a few days after the publication of the book. I ask, though, that you send your review request 3-4 months before your book’s publication. This is to allow me to add and schedule it alongside my already scheduled books.

I review almost every book I read. Reviews are published here on my blog and on Goodreads. I also utilize Tumbr and Twitter to promote and talk about books I read.

My reviews are my opinions, and I write fair and honest ones. My reviews reflect how I felt about your book whether or not I enjoyed it. By sending your request, you acknowledge that you accept that there is a chance the review may not be favorable.

Rating guide:

I rate book similarly to Goodreads’s rating system.

⭐ – Did not like it
⭐⭐ – It was okay
⭐⭐⭐ – Liked it
⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Really liked it but could use some minor tweaks
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – It was amazing! Loved it!
